Are You A Fan Of Football

Do you watch football on Sunday's? or maybe you watch college football on Saturday's.
I have always loved football, I was a cheerleader growing up from a very young age.
I don't watch much football on the weekends, but I never miss the Kansas City Chiefs games.
#15 Patrick Mahomes is my guy and I wear his jersey for every game.
They won on Sunday 21 - 14, are 7 - 2 and lead the AFC West.

The game was played in Germany.
They displayed both flags and sang both National Anthems.

It was a great game!

Part way through the game I put a pot roast in the oven...

This is the way I cook a pot roast...in a McCormick Bag'N Season with carrots and frozen pearl onions.

I made mashed potatoes with it.
I forgot to take a picture when it was done, this is a picture I had saved on my computer,
it was delicious!

You know me and Sunday Football!!!!!! It's the best. I miss having the boys home to cook for. We love our Sundays on the couch.

Sunday roast is my favorite Sunday supper--- and any other day too! Now my stomach is growling! I cook ours in the crock pot with great results but I've never did a roast in a cooking bag---- can't wait to give that a try. We cook our Thanksgiving turkey in the bag every year, and have for many years--- the bags work great. And easy to clean up. Wow those " smashed taters" look amazing--- I'll have seconds please.

Your potroast looks spectacular!
This season I do plan on watching a New England Patriot's game. I've been a Dallas Cowboys fan for decades. After moving back to New England, I added the Patriots.

I've never cooked a roast in a bag... usually brown it on top the stove and then cook it with carrots, potatoes, and onions in the pot in the oven (in our Aga). Turkeys are done in the smoker outside.
As for football, DH watches... but not me. If it's an LSU, Texas A&M, or the Saints game, I'll check in on the score every once in a while.
And I do like (and expect) to hear the game on TV on Saturdays and Sundays.

I'm not into sports much I'm afraid. However, my husband and children are definitely sports aficionados.
I don't do meats much because my mother has difficulty eating chewy dishes. I do miss it sometimes.

Yum! Your pot roast looks so delicious! I can almost smell it cooking! I do like football and I am a Seahawk's fan because, well, I live in Washington! I was a cheerleader, too and loved every minute of it. Those high school games were so much fun! I don't watch football regularly, but my boys have season tickets every year and always have football parties at their homes during away games. I have my Seahawks jersey and hat for those events. Wishing your team luck this year! x K

Not big into football myself, I will watch a Michigan game every now and then and we usually watch the super bowl but mainly for commercials, LOL.
The roast sounds delicious, I use to do it on the stove because that is how my mom didn't, hubby just asked last year if I could try doing it in the oven and we found a recipe we thought we would like and so I do that now.
