The first lunar eclipse of 2022 took place on May 15th here on the east coast.
A total lunar eclipse,
happens as the full moon moves into the deep umbral shadow of the earth.
May's eclipse was visible in total phase from portions of America, Antarctica, Europe,
Africa and the east Pacific.
The moon first appeared as a blood moon, barely visible here because of cloudy skies.
Those clouds parted and I was able to see and photograph the eclipse.
Are you playing "Wordle" yet?
The hubs and I play every day and I am so glad my friend Liz turned me on to it.
While we were in Pier Village for the Kite Festival, we spotted this colorful, hand painted dolphin statue.
It is such a curious little creature.
Knockout Rose Bush
on May 17th.
They have since hatched and the babies are full of life.
I spotted this perfectly shaped
Gerber Daisy at my nearby garden center...
8 so far that have been in chrysalis form over the winter,
kept in the garage.
This one is a Female Black Swallowtail
Lots more pictures coming.
- do anything, but whatever you do, let it produce pure joy -

Boa tarde. Parabéns pelo seu trabalho e excelente matéria. Gostaria de lhe convidar a conhecer o meu Blogger. Quem sabe não podemos um seguir o Blogger do outro?
Beautiful eclipse photos and a festive dolphin. The curious little guy is adorable. The blue eggs are gorgeous indeed, not to mention the daisy and the butterfly. A Wonderful post, Debbie! Thanks again for sharing them with us.

Love that Dolphin!
All of these are beautiful. The dolphin seems to have popped out of the "Yellow Submarine" movie graphics. Linda in Kansas
So cool you captured the eclipse, too cloudy here.
I have not tried Wordle yet, quite a few friends have done it but I really have no idea what I am supposed to even do, LOL!
Wow that statue is cool, looks like it stands out pretty well.
Oh is that a chipmunk in your front walk, too cute.
The eggs are such a pretty blue, so good to hear they hatched and are doing well, we found one broke on the ground out back so we know something got into a nest in our tree :(
That is a gorgeous flower, one your butterfly would probably like, wow they are coming out quickly aren't they, such a beauty!
Beautiful moon photos! I'm excited about your butterflies! I look forward to them every year! Our chipmunks keep us entertained. We've named them based on what part of the property they live on.
