The Hospital...

- the good, the not so bad and the not so ugly -
It wasn't bad...

I got a private room, with a great view...I saw the sunrise each morning.

At this hospital, they have room service...

and the food is pretty darn good.
It works like when you stay at a hotel, you call, they make whatever you want...
then someone brings your food up to your room, piping hot,
always with a kind word and a smile!

I won at cards, War and Uno

and you get flowers.
These came from my sister and my niece...

these came from my mom!

So are you getting my drift, it's not so bad...
and you won't believe what you get when you leave...

A Goodie Bag

I had one good cry, it was necessary and cathartic!

Wonderful nurses, amazing doctors and 3 meals a day severed to me...
pretty flowers, an amazing view, what more could I have asked for.

and just a small fyi, my hair looked great.
I usually rock the Marge Simpson look but for some reason, that didn't happen.
Life is good!

Hello, I am so glad you were released even though it seems like your enjoyed your hospital stay. Your flowers are pretty. I always heard that hospital food was bad, you must have been at a nicer (hotel) hospital. Stay well and take care. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

I love your positive outlook. I like that you always see the glass brimming full, not just half. I am glad you got to go home. I have been in the hospital enough to know its not always so easy. You are just special. I am glad you are home and I hope you get to get lots of rest and feel all better and back to your lovely self.
You are such an inspiration to me. Chuck too.

Room service? Yellow walls? Gift when you leave?

Are you in some kind of socialist paradise?

So happy you're back home, Debbie!

I loved the menu where I was hospitalized also, and then the rehab gave lots of choices. The first time in my live I was eating 3 meals a day. Of course, now I'm back to 1 or 2. :)

Your room looks so nice, and the flowers are beautiful. You are very loved!

I didn't know until this morning that you'd been sick and I'm so glad you're home and better (I am late visiting everybody -- we went to Seattle and Tacoma to visit family and I didn't have time to catch up with all my blog friends.) Today I just started to visit people in random order and the first post I read was dedicated to you and your getting well!

Your hospital sounds amazing -- love the room service option. Still I am very glad you're home -- and I bet your sweet husband does a pretty good room service until you feel like going out or cooking!

You are wonderfully able, to make the best, of everything, Dear One!!!!

But, for a hospital stay, it does look quite plush. :-)

Certainly glad you had at least one good cry! If not, we would begin to wonder, if you are not human! Really!!! No one, can be looking on the bright side, ALLLLLLL the time.

Happy Lughnasa!

As far as hospital stays go that sounds like a pretty good one. Glad they took care of you! And especially glad you're out now! Rest up.

The one thing that irks me about hospitals and healthcare in general is that even simple things like food, bandages, and other stuff are marked up like crazy.

I hope you are doing well

Oh Debbie, so sorry to hear that you have been unwell. The MonSter no doubt. I am happy you are out of the hospital, even if your stay was not so bad. I am lucky, no hospitals for me, we have the opportunity to have home health care if the situation is not life threatening.

That seems like a very upscale hospital and much more inviting than what I am used to.

I just love how optimistic and looking on the bright side you have about things, that makes it easier to get through I am sure. Glad you had that cry, I know that helps to relive a lot for me too, not good to try to keep that bottled up, just get it out and get on with it I say :) Bonus on those beautiful flowers too, so nice of them to bring some extra beauty to the place!

Oh, your experience was better than mine. I will endeavor to keep from getting heat stroke ever again. There were no positives about my experience. Just glad I survived it.

You are on one of the most upbeat people I know," my friend!!
I am so glad that you are home.
Although if one has to be in the hospital, it sounds like where you were is the place to be.
Take good care of you.
