Pasta Salad...

What's better in summer than a nice, fresh
- Pasta Salad -
homemade, of course.
This one is super easy, and since my herb pot is overflowing with Dill,
I just had to make this one.

Morning Sunshine on the ingredients, it was early in the day when I put this together.

Fresh Dill from my garden.

I always soak the red onion in cold water, to take the sting out.

While your pasta cooks...

you have enough time to make your dressing...

and cut up all your vegetables.

Here it is finished, isn't it pretty and colorful.
It is a Family Circle Recipe -
you can find it here.
The recipe calls for putting grilled chicken in it, but I have never done that.
I'm sure it would be good but I like it this way.
Of course, you could add or delete any vegetables and serve it as you like.
The fresh Dill is the star of the dish!!

I made some Deviled Eggs, we picked up some fresh white corn...

and this was dinner!
Perfect - on a hot summer day!

Oh, how I lov pasta salad! And it seems to taste better in the summer :) I must say I have never added dill to my pasta salad, but will have to try that soon. Just last night I made Italian Wedding meatball soup and it had dill in it.....mmmm, it was yummy!

Happy weekend! Hugs

Oh I love pasta salad--salad of any kind. My "lil Sis makes a broccoli one that is luscious.
Wimpy white corn again? I like the kind with the fat yellow kernels that get stuck in your teeth. LOL

Looks great... totally different then how I make mine. I use the color noodles, black olives, tomato, corn, peas, carrots and mayo and Italian dressing, salt and pepper, oregano, basil and what ever else I decide to throw in at the time! haha....I would love to try yours but I wold have to take the green bell pepper out....do not like.

Oh my goodness, that looks DELICIOUS and yep, perfect for these sweaty hot summer days! I want to come eat at YOUR HOUSE! I don't know, something about summer lately, I just don't feel like cooking much at all. We've been eating out alot and I know it's not the healthiest but it sure is quick and easy. We pick up our supper and go sit by the water and watch the ships come and go!
