Saturday Critters ~ 185 ~

A few days ago, we took a ride...a very short ride to
Located right in my home town, this butterfly house is small but beautiful,
and the people who run it are so personable and nice.
We went a few weeks ago, over Memorial Day Weekend and they were closing early.
They were locking up as we got there but I only cried a little.
When we went back for this visit,
we only had to pay for one of us - how nice was that?
Lauren was our personal guide and we had the entire place to ourselves.

They also have a group of homing pigeons, that they release for special occasions.
Over time, the pigeons always come back.

I love this little, undiscovered treasure.
I sure wish more peeps would find out about it,
so they could enjoy it like I do!

Many thanks to Lauren and the other sweet girl I met there.
If you are ever in Brick, New Jersey, be sure and look them up!!

I find butterflies difficult to photograph. The pictures are always blurred. Great work, Debbie.

That was so sweet of them to let you in even though they were closing. You captured some beautiful butterflies. My favorite photo was the one with the sunflowers, oh my they are gorgeous!! I love how the pigeons are all facing the same way!

I'e been to a butterfly conservatory once -- at Niagara Falls, Canadian side. It was great, and I wouldn't mind going again someday, but one closer to home. :)

Isn't it bonny to have them all in the same place?! There is an insectarium in Montreal, which we visited.
