It's Where We Walk...

You know how I always say "we" and it always means "he"...
yep, that's the case here as well.
The hubs walks and I sit and knit and people watch.
And from time to time I get to see a good sunset.
These images are from back in July,
when I was going every night.
My health has prevented me from keeping the hubs company lately,
I'm hoping that changes soon.
This land was a landfill, a gravel pit and an overall eye sore for as long as I can remember.

A few years ago, the town purchased it and created a beautiful reservoir,
for an artificial water supply and for walking.

It is an awesome place to sky watch...

and to catch a pretty sunset.

We love it here.
The path has a lot of benches, a few gazebos, a deck for fishing, picnic tables and so much more.
It is safe and secure with cameras and the men who circle in golf carts every 15 minutes.
And don't worry if you forgot your water bottle, clean cold water is provided at each on ramp.

Open 7 days a week, it's a nice, clean place to go for a walk or a jog!

The sky photos are dazzling... but I like the last photo the best. The dusk, lights and the refection in the water make a great combo.

What a great place. It's nice to see a town do something good with a piece of land. Beautiful photos. I hope you're feeling well enough to join the hubs soon.

Hello, it looks like a pretty place for a walk and just to sit and watch the sky. Beautiful sunset captures. I hope all goes well and you recover quickly, sending my prayers and get well wishes.

Yes, it WAS a great place to sit. Nice sky views. You might not be walking with hubs, but he knows you wish you were. And at least you weren't at home just being grumpy because the world isn't fair. :)

Beautiful spot Debbie -- hoping you feel well enough to join in the walk soon, but meanwhile it is a wonderful place to sit and sky-gaze (one of my favorite activities) ! And I understand exactly your definition of "we." Here, 'we' have remodeled a couple of homes, landscaped a couple of yards, changed a bunch of lightbulbs, downloaded a million pictures, did major and minor fixes on a bunch of household appliances, computers, and cars, kept a couple of RVs in good working order .... 'we' are very talented (or at least half of us are). (The other half of us occasionally cooks a meal ;>)).

That is so great that they made such a great place for everybody out of something that was an eye sore, it looks like it is quite the popular place, plenty of people watching and the sunset shots, just gorgeous.... so sorry to hear you haven't been able to join him on his walks, praying for healing and getting back out there :)
