Good Fences ~ Edition 124 ~

The road in front of this beautiful lighthouse can only accommodate one car at a time.
We drove past slowly so I could get a picture.
This modest stone citadel lighthouse, built in 1840,
has stood at the entrance to the harbor of Stonington, Connecticut for more than 170 years.
The property is protected by a small white picket fence.

We did not go inside on this day, we have been inside before.

Sharing today with my good friend

I have been away from here for a few days, and came to find your last post.
I am so very sorry that you had to be in the hospital.
Thinking of you, and hoping things are better.
Sending you hugs, my friend. xo.
