Yarn Along!!!

Not much is new on the knitting front...
I am still working on my 400 yard scarf and technically I am half way.
And when I say technically, it's technically...
because the hank of yarn I am working with will not end.
It just won't, it's the "never ending hank of yarn"!
Each night when I sit down to knit, I say to myself, tonight's the night I will be starting
that pretty, new, second hank of yarn.
But it doesn't happen...

You see it there, that little, tiny ball, it has looked that way for 3 days!!

Here's the big picture...with the sea glass I found at the beach on Sunday.

closer up, with a little tug to the end, it's a curler.

Cascade, Alpaca yarn,
I like the color, I love the pattern...
Knit 4, Purl 4, you can knit this with your eyes closed.

I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for
Yarn Along

  6. It looks so soft. And real pretty! I have bags of fiber that are never ending - no matter how much you spin it never seems to get any smaller.

  7. Oh how beautiful. Your work is lovely. Such a talent to knit like this. I crochet mostly but do a straight knitting design now and then. I've had yarn that never seems to end too. Beautiful photo with the sea glass. Enjoy the process and have a nice weekend. Blessings xo

  8. I just love seeing what you have been knitting. I also like the beach glass you collected.
I just enjoy seeing the colors and thinking about what it feels like.
There is something just lovely about yarn and knitting that seems peaceful and calm.
    Have a lovely day Debbie.

  10. Scarves always take way more time than they ought to take and far more than I think they will. Keep going! It's lovely.

I'm also jealous of your sea glass. We moved inland six and a half years ago, and I still miss the beach and salt water. I think it gets into your blood and bones, and always calls you.

So now I have to change myself going backwards with needles. Your wool is beautiful it looks like angora.

It is a relaxing I find. Even if I am learning. If that is all your knitting is the Pul. The pattern looks lovely.

  16. Oh, my dear friend, I do love your humor. If knitting is that easy maybe I will look into learning how to do it.
I love this beautiful scarf. It is so cold here that my husband is always asking why I don't have a scarf on. Well I do hope you have a sweet night and a great day tomorrow. Hugs~

  19. I know what you mean about thinking you should almost be there but it just doesn't seem to happen, I am working on a cross-stitch and I am at the backstitching and I think I should be able to finish this soon and then I see another area that needs it. Love those little birds they are just the sweetest!
