There are so many beautiful things to see when you visit Longwood Gardens.
Every season, every year they expand the displays and décor,
it's difficult to see everything on every visit!!
We didn't reach the Garden Railroad display until after dark.
It was probably the best time of day to view it,
it was decorated so beautifully,
but difficult to photograph at night.
The railroad was outdoors, and we won't talk about the temperatures,
lets just say it was freezing cold, and we'll leave it at that.
The hubs took these pictures,
as I told him my poor little fingers were frozen,
that worked...it always works.
We had gotten a little dusting of snow that day,
so in addition to all the lights,
the display also had a fresh coat of powder.
We passed this beautiful tree as we headed toward the exit...
all the trees, on all the paths...
are decorated with thousands of lights!!
If you have missed any of the earlier entries about Longwood Gardens,
If you ever have the opportunity to visit Longwood,
be sure you do.
You won't be disappointed.

Hi Debbie, the Christmas lights at Longwood Gardens was one of my favorite things about visiting there in the winter.. The train display is nice too.. Your hubby took wonderful photos for you.. Thanks for sharing your visit.. Happy Sunday!
That dusting of snow would help the photography, reflecting more of the light than the grass...
The trees are really incredible - I can't believe all the lights!!
Debbie,

I marvel at all your photos.

Have a great week.
Greetings from Polish.

How cool! I agree, I'd say night is the best time if you want to really see the lights.

Certainly does look like a beautiful place! I love those large scale model trains.
Those are some really beautiful pictures. The Christmas tree looks amazing. This reminded me of the Christmas town in North Carolina, McAdenville. Wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2015!
The miniature railroad looks fascinating; it's one of those things I'd love to see! The lights are really beautiful as well.
