Six Words Friday ~ Wave ~

Back to Baltimore, I wave goodbye!!

April 28th was the last time I saw her...
the sweet little Baltimore Oriole that called my yard home.
I went outside to take her picture...
to photograph her playing in the trees and enjoying the warmer weather.

It was nice to be outside with her,
instead of in the house, photographing her from my office window.

She ate a lot of jelly that day and I took a lot of pictures.
I'm so happy to have those memories, for now she is gone.

We spent the entire winter together...
she was a beautiful, bright pop of color in the yard every day.
Safe travels my dear one,
I hope you find a home with lot's of grape jelly and fresh oranges.
And I hope your new family figures out that grape jelly is your favorite!!

Please stop by and share Six Words with my dear friend Adrienne.
Many thanks Adrienne for hosting Six Words Friday,
it's both challenging and fun!

Debbie, these photos are just beautiful and look like I am actually standing there in person. They are so pretty, they could be framed and hung on my wall! After all, yellow is my favorite color! Now I want to go and eat some grape jelly, perhaps on toast? Yummm!

No fair tugging at my heartstrings so early in the morning! BUT, I live just 15 minutes south of Baltimore. If she shows up, I will give her lots of grape jelly. Maybe I'll put some out today!

I bet she is being so much more discrete, and raising a bunch of baby orioles!!! the world can sure use more of them!!!

She wouldn't have survived the winter without your help Debbie. Lovely shots of her in the trees.

Such a beauty -- I'm sure you'll miss her. Funny, when I saw your theme, I thought of an ocean wave. But your interpretation of waving good-bye suits the post so well!
