Hot Rods & Food Trucks!!

Be still my heart...
two of my very most favorite things in the whole wide world.
Food and Hot Rods, in that order!!

Saturday, June 21, in Seaside Heights, they had both.
It was a gorgeous day here at the Jersey Shore,
sunny, 70 degrees with an ocean breeze,
and just a few fair weather clouds painted the sky.

Hot Rods lined the streets, lots of them...

These are just a few of my favorites, this car show was insane...

I'll have to show you the gourmet food trucks tomorrow.
They were insane as well!!

Some fantastic cars and trucks! Great colors and lots of work involved. Did you tell them they need to flip-flop the name of the event per your order of preference? :-)

Just look at how "shiny" they are. Makes me want to wash our van (not really) but I do think they are pretty cool looking cars.

What great cars! That car you are standing by Debbie is the kind of car Ron had when we met.
Who knew that it would be so collectable now.
I think this is such an impressive group of cars.

I was going to say, "I'll take that little blue Corvette," but it looks like Chuck has already claimed it!! :-)
What beauties these are, Debbie. It must have been so much fun to be there.

Oh, I loved all the pictures of the cars. I really like hot rod shows; but I haven't been to one in years. I want to find a two toned green 1952 Chevrolet sometime. My husband and I bought a 1952 Chevrolet when we were senior's in high school. We weren't married but we had $100.00 and we borrowed $60.00 from my brother and bought the car. We loved that car. When he left on a 2 year mission for our church; I had the car and used it while going through nursing school. It was a treasure and a really sweet memory. Thanks for this one, it stirred up some memories.
I am happy you had a great day taking pictures of these fantastic cars.
Blessings and hugs!

I love old car shows! There's one near here every Thursday and even though we've been a couple of times, I didn't go to get photos yet...gotta do it! That red car at the beginning of your post looks VERY patriotic! Loved the flags and that bright red color! Great hot rods all, though. Some great pics of them too.

I love that all the hoods were open - amazing! I know nothing about cars ...but oh boy, these sure are pretty to look at! And I really admire people who take such good care of things. You can see the love the owners have for these cars, and that is a universal language!

I am awe struch seeing these cars and then I have to say your photos are outstanding. Need to know since I am still learning photography what camera you use and lens and if you use a filter? I know it is how one understand their camera but it also helps to have good gear too. Your photos were taken in full sun but they photos do not have glare or blowout and the sky is so blue. Would love to know what is in your camera bag. GOD bless your day and keep you all safe.

The colours are amazing. It's a great hobby for many people, too. A real cult! Great shots!
I saw 4 Fords go by the other day, women all dressed up for some show or other! Fun!
