Classic Car Cruise!!

Once per month, in the little seashore town of Point Pleasant, NJ
the streets close, classic oldie tunes fill the air, and vintage cars line
Arnold Avenue.

The two trucks were my favorites!!!

Rain was in the forecast on June 11, 2014,
so not too many people came out.
That was just fine with me...I love when these events are not crowded.

It's a damn good thing I was laying down when I first saw that green pick up. It's also good that I was not chewing gum, as I would have aspirated it. Also have car lust for the 7th one down -the red one taken from the back. What lines! Now all cars look alike to me. But not back then!

So many bright colors. Love these. They just don't paint them like that anymore. I especially enjoyed all the red ones. :) They're all in such pristine condition.

Those old cars and trucks sure bring back memories for me. Not that I am admitting that I am old. LOL

I like the trucks, too! I'm a Cuda fan, but you don't see them often. Some nice classics there!

These are all beauties, Debbie, but I REALLY want that little red truck. I can just see pulling up to the grocery store in it. :-)

I don't know the first thing about cars, but some people definitely know how to take care of their classic ones. My father has an old El Camino (I don't know the year) just sitting in the driveway going to waste. I wish he would just give it to someone who knows how to take care of it.
