a female deer.
She sees and acknowledges me right away!
She checks to be sure I pose no threat,
and starts to move a little closer.
I whisper softly to her as she enjoys munching on the grass,
after a few minutes, she scampers off to be closer to the herd!

Wonderful pictures! I love watching deer. They are so beautiful.
Great photos, although Ms. Doe does look a bit on the thin side. Maybe its all the Wisconsin beer and cheese that puff up our deer!!!
She was beautiful!!
that girl needs to eat! :)
Wonderful photos!

Great photos Debbie, sweet to see her.
I love how much this enchants you!! It's why we like you so much! Photos 3 and 4 might be two of my favorites ever of yours!
Great photos, Debbie! I like the big tree and the line of deer in the background!
What a treat for you....it's amazing that she stayed so close. She knows you are a kind soul...
Lovely photos Debbie -- she looks so thin. Maybe you could offer up some of your cooking to the crowd? :)

Wonderful pictures Deb!
That's terrific! She looks like she could use a good meal. Glad she kept eating when she saw you.
She is pretty, nice sighting of the doe and the herd! Wonderful photos, Debbie!
You did a great job in capturing her! Love the way she's in the foreground with the herd behind her. She picks at the grass so delicately--I love watching them eat. I wonder why she's so thin?
Do, re, mi, fa, so, la, te---I'll be singing it all night now. :-)
Oh my what big eyes you have Ms. Doe!
I love seeing these gentle creatures!
So cool to see the deer. Great catches!
A magical moment indeed, Debbie, and how fortunate you were to be able to capture it.
So glad you were able to capture several photos of this pretty little doe. She is a little think though.
Wow there were quite a number of deer in this little herd. How exciting to see so many at once.
Loved your photos.
Oh pretty! Those deer must know you're a gentle soul - I think they'd run from me before I'd get a shot off!
With my camera, that is (whew - of course!)
Beautiful looking the herd of deers! nice captures...
The deer look so thin this year. I think the winter was hard on them. I had an 8 point buck in the yard this afternoon but no camera handy. He was a handsome fellow though.
