This past weekend we visited oldest son Scott who lives in Connecticut.
Here is the view at Katie's parent's cottage in Branford,
a hot spot for boating and kayaking.
Kayaking is on my bucket list, but we didn't go on this day.
Most of them were parked,
a few were resting on the beach.
I found one piece of sea glass and a couple pretty shells.
We visited with Scott, Katie, Abby and Katie's parents on Saturday!
We had an amazing meal at The Beachhead
which had a breathtaking view of the Long Island Sound.
I had a warm, New England Lobster Roll,
the hubs had Fried Shrimp.
I forgot to take pictures but all of the dishes were delicious.
I did not take any people pictures, Scott does not love the camera...
but here's a cute one of Scott & Katie together in August,
at our house, enjoying the pool. I don't think I ever shared this!

Scott is a handsome guy! He and Katie make a good looking couple.
The water and sky look gorgeous! It looks like a peaceful place to spend some time.
Kayaking is on my bucket list, too. I've never been.
Happy duo.
I love kayaking. Don't have the guts to take a camera along though...I've tilted...er..rolled a few too many times.
i always take me camera in the kayak (when the hubby & i adventure out) ... love it ... always have a bag to keep it dry ... it is fun trying to keep the kayak steady when i snap away ... find it fun trying. ( :
sweet couple. :)
LOVE the boat and water shots! gorgeous!
Sounds like a great time. Your son is the combination of you and your husband in his looks. Really cute couple.
Beautiful place...Scott & Katie a lovely couple!
The kayaks are such happy colors.

You both look very happy.

Oh what a lovely place! They make a cute couple!
I love to kayak, but with the MS, it's safer to use a sit atop kayak. So if you ever want to try it, I would suggest you use that kind.
The colourful kayaks add such beauty to these pictures.
Hmm, I'd like to see you in a kayak. :) Gorgeous photos and Scott looks very much like his old man. :)
Beautiful scenery and cute kids!
Such a cute couple! Sounds like a wonderful day! I am so envious of the lobster roll!
Debbie, sounds like a wonderful weekend away. I know you were happy to see your son and Katie. They are a cute couple! Beautiful photos!
Just the bright colors of the kayaks is pretty to look at! Wow...what a lovely area that is.
How funny that your son doesn't like photos...go figure.
Cute couple I think your son looks like his dad. Great shots !
Glad you all got to go for a visit!
Kayaking is on my bucket list too!
I love the photos!
Greetings, RW & SK
That's a beautiful place to have a cottage! Wow!
Love all your artistic photos, Debbie. What a beautiful place and what a lovely couple.
Shots of boats and sea glasses looks good
Hi Debbie Lovely to see your happy family. The other shots have so vibrant colours and I love the way you put the canoes in the front of no 2
The kayaks are so pretty because they're all different colors... It looks like so much fun, but I'm afraid of tipping...
What fun. I hope you get to kayak soon.
The sky looks so bright and beautiful, I really need to get a few photography lessons from you one of these days! And is odd that I'm now craving a lobster roll at 8:00 AM? May have to head to the Shore Fresh Seafood Market for dinner tonight!
Fabulous photos!

Kayaking might be fun but only if I'm wearing a life-jacket. I can't swim. Love how colorful they all were. Sounds like you had a great time.
Beautiful pictures of the area. I do hope sometime we can travel out to the East Coast. I especially enjoyed the picture of your children.
Blessings~
