We Love Lambertville

Remember our trip to Lambertville, New Jersey on September 14...

Nestled on the east bank of the Delaware River, its tree-lined streets,
Victorian houses and Federal row homes
continue to greet the eye as they did in the 1800s.
It's a wonderful place to spend the day!!

I hope you did not miss my other Lambertville entries,
but if you did, you can read all about that day here and here.

This was my favorite store,

"blue raccoon"

Here's a peak inside, it really had the "wow" factor...

I just adore the brick on the back wall,
and was really smitten with everything else in this store.

Here's the other side of the building, what a neat place!!

I found this wall of eclectic clocks in a different store...
these would not "go" with my decor but they were so fun and colorful!!

I didn't buy anything that I can recall...
I am not much of a shopper, I really have everything I need.

I do enjoy wandering through the stores
and I love to see what other people are buying.

So what about you guys, are you die hard shoppers...
or window shoppers??
Do you love shopping for clothes or home decor??
Or is internet shopping more your style??

That shot by the river is gorgeous Debbie! Lots of interesting things in the stores. I'm not much of a shopper anymore. With limited mobility I'm only good on my feet for about half an hour.

I'm more of a make it and sell it kind of person. That place looks like so much fun!

That third picture. If only we could fill up our living room with all that lovely stuff.

I would just love poking around in that shop! It looks like so much fun. I'm not much of a shopper. I especially hate buying clothes and do most of that online - sort of hit or miss. But, I do love poking around little shops with interesting things - I don't buy much, though.

Would love to be able to browse in a store like that although I would probably not buy a good deal. Beautiful photos.

I get dragged shopping once or twice a year, kicking and screaming the whole way. I can also "do" the whole West Edmonton mall in 15 minutes. :-}

I love seeing those old factory buildings along the river. Years ago, there was a lace factory, but I think it may have closed. I, too, like to browse both in stores and online.

Debbie, it looks like a pretty town near the river. The store looks neat, I would like to window shop there. I am not much of a shopper either! Great shots, have a happy day!

I would not be able to resist going into a store called "blue raccoon." And what an inviting decor it has! I also loved the wall of clocks. I saw a couple that I would like. :-)

I don't like to shop. I get most of my clothes online from LL Bean. Very simple. I do like browsing in bookstores, though.

I agree with you I would love browsing around that shop. Who could resist with a name like that....

I love quaint little shops and stores at out of the way places....and artsy handcrafted things...

I do love a good search thru the local thrift store -- kinda like a treasure hunt. Love that building Debbie~

Love that brick building on the water- would love to just tour the area! I go through spells of shopping- but they don't last long. I get bored with it all too easily. Now sight-seeing- I can do that all day long!

We haven't spent very much time in New Jersey at all so it was loads of fun to see this through your camera. Thanks, Debbie.
