Another Day At The Beach!!

We are having an Indian Summer here at the Jersey Shore...

and we could not be happier!!

Yesterday, we spent the day in Long Branch,

enjoying this,

and searching for sea glass and shells!!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day, 65 degrees, not a cloud in the sky!!

This is "our spot" in Pier Village.
Every time we go, we take a picture here, using the timer, of course.

We got a lot of  "pirate's booty", that's what Chuck calls it!!

Shells, those are angel wings, top center.

Sea glass, we found a lot!!
We found four large pieces, one piece was "planted" by Chuck.
Who can guess which one??
All the rest we found, it was a good sea glass day!!

And I just could not pass up on these rocks.
Purple/plum rock top right with some circles,
it's very pretty and super special!!
We each found one piece of pretty sponge.

We had "linner", (lunch and dinner combined).
We walked the beach, boardwalk and we rode the bikes.

Chuck drew this in the sand for me...

so I could share it with Clytie's Random Hearts

I love this guy!!

Oh my goodness. This is absolutely gorgeous. I think this is my favorite post. So loving and beautiful. How can you not love this man? I would love to have beaches like that here in Miami. The shells and glass you found are so gorgeous. I hope you are keeping them in a bottle or something to cherish.
TFS. I am jealous.

All of your pictures are beautiful! I'm glad you had such a lovely day.

If the planted piece of sea glass isn't that star, I'm on my way there right now as that is so cool! So are all of the other pieces and your shells.

Oh lovely pictures. Really love the first one of the blue sky, blue sea and a lovely happy couple.
You got some amount of 'pirate's booty' there and it is all beautiful. What will you do with it all?
Here's hoping you have lots of Indian Summer days. :))

If you have ever read my profile you know that the beach is where MY heart is too. How beautiful to spend such a gorgeous day with the ocean and the hubby - a treasure indeed!

I have a special place in my heart for hearts drawn in sand ... yours, along with your beautiful post, brought tears to my eyes!!!

I want you to know that if I ever came across a beach with so many shells, stones and glass as you show in your photos, I would plunk down and not move until either a)high tide or b)full pockets!

I am so jealous. My husband has the boys at the beach right now. I am stuck home working. My sister is a manager at the Stone Hut in Pier Village. I love it up there. The last time I was there was for a walk to support my neice who has spina bifida. I feel like I am on vacation when I am there. I'm so glad to see you had such a nice time.

So glad you have had some nice weather. It was beautiful here for a couple of days, but today the rain came, and the temperatures dropped. And dropped!
