Ten pretty European Starling, dressed in their winter wear!!

They invited a Brown-Headed Cowbird

Keeping the bird bath full, is a full time job!!

I love the "bubble" action in this shot!!

  12. Hi Debbie. I've been catching up on your posts, you've been a busy girl!
How fun to see so many together at once. Seeing the male brown headed cowbirds makes me feel even more certain that your unidentified little lady was a female cowbird.
They lay their eggs in the nests of other birds, but I still think they are pretty, and I love their song.
You are right about my busy schedule. Sometimes it is difficult to balance everything. It doesn't help that my internet has been incredibly slow this week.

  13. You are a hoot. Great photos as usual. I can't believe how many birds you get. I spent this morning trying to find my camera to take a photo of a grouse in a pine tree. No go. The second I found the camera and started to take the shot, it flew away. Bummer. Guess I'll just look at your photos.
