Baby goslings everywhere,
and I derive so much pleasure in finding them and trying to photograph them.
They are quick little buggers and they are quickly learning how to preen themselves,
and spend a lot of time doing it!
- I found these 2 at Lake of the Lilies, they are so cute when they are little -
I found this family of 5 swimming in a small body of water along the Allaire State Park bike path.
- Only 3 goslings were left, I'm sure there were more -
Male and female Canadian Geese and 7 goslings.
Of course you always have one or two who "get out of line"...
but after a good scolding, the line was perfect.
They all ate and played together in the grass.
I think they swam over to us to see if we had any food to offer, we did not.
There were a lot of Lily Pads, the flowers were just beginning to open!
I went back to Debbies Creek to check on the Swans and Cygnets we saw there,
2 days after hatching, on Mother's Day.
They were not there, definitely gone.
There was a man there fishing and he had not seen them on this day or the day before.

They are so cute! Mom and dad must work so hard to make them grow up.
Oh my they are just the cutest, I love to see the whole family swimming together, we have a pond up our street and yesterday we saw a family up there on the edge of the water.
Oh, these photos are absolutely precious!
They look so sweet and so soft. I would not dare to aggravate the parents by touching one though.
