Dinner & A Movie

We went to see the movie first, a daytime matinee...so we were able to stay awake,
plus we saved a "whole dollar" on each ticket
- you get my drift -

We went to see Tom Cruise in
Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning

We have not been to the movies in ages and it all looked so different.

I liked this display, I guess the limousine drew me in.

Now...
on to my review...
I have no idea what the movie was about, I think they were looking for an "entity",
I heard that word a lot.
It was very dark and had the usual Tom hanging from a moving plane scenes.

I feel like this was the only "light" scene in the entire movie and it comes at the end.

I didn't like it...I tried to like it, I also tried to fall asleep but I wasn't tired.
The positives: big cushy chairs, we bought our tickets at home and we were able to pick our seats.
We have not been to a theater in forever, these were new to us!

We went to Carrabba's Grill afterward and I had this shrimp scampi appetizer for dinner.
It was plenty of food, I brought half home and it was delicious.

Hello,
I do not think I would bother to see this movie in a theater.
The shrimp scampi looks delicious. Take care, enjoy your day!

Debbie, we haven't been to a movie theater in years... even before the pandemic. Since so many movies stream on TV eventually, I can't think of any reason to go... unless it is one that really looks better on the big screen. And I have admit, movies like this one aren't really to my liking. But an outing and a dinner is always fun.

We saw that movie last weekend. Far too long. I moved around in the sea for all but the first 15 minutes. That is 2 hours 40 minutes I will never get back.

We too have not been to a movie in over a year. In fact, I cannot remember the last movie we went to. I think it was in Nova Scotia, and they offered it in either French or English.

Bummer the movie wasn't that good, his stunts are quite impressive, especially at his age, but if that is all the story it about , looks like they have lovely scenes. We haven't been to the theater in years either, hubby says he likes to be able to pause the movie when he wants to talk about it or has to use the bathroom :). Nice you enjoyed the meal!
