I have had some very busy days, filled with so many fun things....
and it makes such a big difference in making a house feel like a home.
If you have been reading my blog for any length of time, you know I have been subscribed to
Home Chef getting 3 meals per week.
and I also did a cost comparison with a meal I would generally prepare for dinner
and the cost was the same.
Home Chef saves me a lot of time in the kitchen, the ingredients are fresh, fun to cook,
and all the pre-portioned ingredients are all together, in one bag.
They require at least 30 minutes to prepare and they were always delicious.
This meal was delicious, extraordinary...it came with a blend of cheese to sprinkle on top...
I used some home grown basil from my garden, to finish it off.
I now subscribe to Cook Unity as my new meal package delivery services.
I order 6 meals per week, one for each of us, which covers us for 3 dinnertime meals.
They are like t.v. dinners, all the prep-work work is done,
and they have a very large selection of meals to choose from.
With no prep, they are generally cooked in the microwave 2- 3 minutes...
the meals come fresh, never frozen.
I have been knitting, these can be washcloths or dishcloths.
If I choose to gift them as washcloths I include a handmade bar of soap.
I spent time Saturday knitting at the Coop with some of my knitting crew.
I purchased this black alpaca yarn to finish off the scarf I am knitting for the hubs.
This is the scarf, it will have one more 12 inch block in the alpaca black.
I am excited to finish it and it will keep him nice and warm next winter.
I am loving my "Bucket List" calendar,
April was great!
I have lots more to share and some really exciting news....
that's for tomorrow so be sure and stop by.

Hi Debbie, aren't busy, fun days great? Your pasta looks delicious and your photos are always a sense of joy and serenity for me.
Busy days are productive ones and I enjoy them. Since my surgery it has been hard getting my energy level up. But I work at it daily. Your pasta looks great and the new meal plan sounds good too. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, I crochet washcloths and wrap them up with this nice lavender soap that I like, it's from Kroger, LOL! Well, actually, I do a crochet edging on real terrycloth washcloths! And the meal plan sounds great! I rarely have seen lilacs but I have seen them in England and I love how they smell!!
Lilacs are so lovely.
I do like the scarf you are making for the hubs.
Sending my good wishes.
All the best Jan
The blooms are gorgeous! The meals sound like an easy and nutritious solution to the old question, “What’s for supper?”
I am always interested in the meal deals to see if they are truly worth it.
Your lilacs are lovely ours have not bloomed yet.
It is nice to have monthly goals I should try that maybe I will get more done.

your lilacs are so pretty, Debbie! I can almost smell them! We don't have them here so I'll just enjoy them through your pictures! hugs!
Hello,
It is lovely to have the fresh flowers in the house, they are so pretty.
Your meals sound great, easy to prepare. The scarf and washcloths are beautiful, I love all the colors. The calendar is pretty. Take care, have a great day!
Home Chef looks like a good option. Love your knitting. Your lilacs are several weeks ahead of ours and I can't wait!

Your lilacs look great, ours isn't doing so well this year, don't know if it's all the rain, or what. Those meals are even easier now, that would be nice a couple days a week. Looks like you have a nice set of washcloths to gift, like how you combine them with soap :) That will certainly be a nice long scarf for the hubs. Glad you were able to get out with the girls and enjoy some knitting!
