The days here at the shore have been beautiful, it's the perfect time for getting the hands dirty.
I don't garden nearly as much as I use to, but I still enjoy my time outside, planting.
More than that, I enjoy seeing the perennials we've planted in previous years come to life.
- home -
-endless summer on the left, roses on the right -
- yesterday, the hubs helped me prune, trim and enhanced the overall shape of the butterfly bush. -
- these were planted more than 30 years ago -
The hubs fine tuned the garden in front of the deck pictured above.
He added all new topsoil and planted the wildflower seeds pictured below!
I have big dreams about this garden...I would like to have fresh cut flowers in the house
for the entire summer.
- these 2 were planted a few weeks ago -
- all of these seeds have been planted in the wildflower garden except for the dill-
- I have this seperate garden trug to grow dill for my butterflies & whatever vegetables I choose to grow -
- my green onions survived the winter and are huge right now -
- anyone need green onions -
I am so excited to see everything popping up from the earth!

Absolutely stunning, Debbie! I can see every line and beautiful detail in the leaves and flowers! Beautiful colours, too!
Lovely! Thank you for sharing!
Just lovely!! Are they walking onions or Egyptian onions? I have them and they are back and growing like crazy.

Beautiful!
So beautiful. The viburnum is lovely and I love your garden trug. I want to do something like that for my herb garden.
Beautiful photographs Debbie.
Wishing you a happy month of May.
All the best Jan
Debbie, your property is beautiful... and you'all keep it looking so wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful gardens, Debbie - everything is so neat and tidy, too! Love the pretty backyard with the tall shade trees and fencing. A lovely place to enjoy the springtime. Hope you show us the flowers as they come into bloom. x K
It's still too early here, apart from spinach and lettuce, which I think the resident squirrels have probably decimated -- every day I fill in the holes they have dug. The fact that anything is coming up is a miracle!
My hands have never been dirtier than they have this week. Ever tried to grease a seed planter? I guess not, but I bet you can imagine! Love that you are getting out there and doing all things spring!
Spring growth and blooming well underway at your house, Debbie. Enjoy!
Hello Debbie,
Your plants and flowers are all looking beautiful.
We have to wait to plant till our last chance of frost is over.
Take care, have a happy weekend.
Your yard looks wonderful. We haven't even got the leaves out yet.
You have a gorgeous home Debbie and your garden is charming :)
We have had so much rain and the days it was nice we had other things that we had to do so we are hoping today after church to run to get some plants and then plant the wildflower seeds we bought.
Sorry forgot to say your yard is looking lovely :)
I loved the tour of your garden!! It is all simply gorgeous! I know the outdoors is your Happy Place! Love seeing how pretty your property is!
