I've A Long Tale To Tell...

and I have decided to leave out many of the details.
On October 18,
Leanne came over, 8:30 am sharp and decorated my car for our journey.
She would be driving my car to the fiber festival and it had to be recognizable, to everyone.
Once decorated and packed right to the brim, off we went to meet other like minded fiber friends.
The car ride was a blast, 4 of us, talking, laughing and knitting.

We all met at "Buns" in upstate New York, 15 of us and we enjoyed the best ever burgers.
Next up, was a small festival called "Cake Palooza".
It was not the Sheep and Wool festival, just a small,"wet your appetite" festival.
I like this smaller festival, I went last year and I purchased lot's of "fun" things and had a great time.

I had a ticket to another festival on Friday but did not go.
I felt fine...
I went back to the house we rented, I laid down and the rest is a blurrrrrrr.
The hubs came and got me on Saturday morning, I have been in and out of the hospital since.
Such a bummer, I never got to the festival and was never able to wear my sweater.
So much has happened in the last 2 weeks, none of those details are important.
The "haul" from the "Cake" festival was great.
Someone gave me the small skein of yarn, tea mug with a sheep, a new project bag with butterflies on it,
stitch stoppers, 2 - lanolin hand and body balms in the Cider Donut Scent...
and a candle in the "Sweet Farmhouse" scent which is just amazing.

The weekend could have been better, it could have been worse.
Tomorrow is Halloween and the folks around here have gone all out with decorating.
We went for a drive way back when and I will share the pictures tomorrow.
You are warned, there are a lot...

Fun vehicle decorations. I'm glad you had some time to enjoy before the blurr.

Oh Debbie. I am so very sorry to hear that you have been ill -- and of all things, such bad timing with the festival. At least a bit of fun on the way, but so sad. I am sending healing wishes (which I hope are no longer needed) and all good thoughts for a time you can put all this behind you. (Wear your sweater for us!)
