Knitting Is The Answer...

...I don't care what the question is...
It is the one thing that brings people together and brings me endless joy.

So when our knitting group found out that one of us was having some serious health issues,
Leanne came up with a plan and we jumped into action.
We would each knit or crochet an 8 inch square in shades of purple, her favorite color.
Our group came together quickly and within two weeks we had 49 knitted and crocheted squares.
Some of the girls were able to make more than one square, the fast knitters and crocheters.
I, made one square and finished it in time.
Liz joined them together and those squares became a beautiful blanket to wrap our dear friend in love.

My square is the bottom, corner square on the left.
It feels wonderful to be a small part of a big project like this.
Sending love to a friend that really needs it.
