The Goings On Around Home

I have not really been out of the house much...
and the goings on around here are not too exciting.
I enjoyed my trip to Peddlers Village,
that was a week ago and I have been trying to find somewhere else "fun" to go.
We've gone for a few drives, errands and things, I do all of my banking from home.
Whoever came up with depositing a check by taking a picture from home, and bill pay is genius,
it sure does save a lot of time and travel to the bank.

I have been knitting...

I made this hat for youngest son Michael for Christmas.
The hubs liked it so I started another for him.
Same color, same pattern, it will finish up quickly!

It is another February Hat, knitted with Alpaca Yarn.

This is my new knitting bag,
the one I bought in "mother Knitter Yarn Studio" in Red Bank, NJ
It is large and will hold my laptop, purse items and all of my knitting supplies.
I absolutely love it!

I had to stop at my friend Lizzie's house,
she gave me this beautiful lavender from her garden.
I wish you could smell it, it is divine.

I have been cooking a lot.
This Home Chef meal was delicious.
Creamy Italian Sausage and Asiago Cheese Pasta with Spinach and Roasted Red Peppers.
This was one of my favorite recent meals, and it came together in less than 30 minutes.

I'm all ready for Halloween...
It is a favorite holiday...
I don't get dressed in a costume, I just love answering the door,
and seeing all of the super cute costumes.

We have gone for a few walks at the reservoir near our home.
The hubs walks, I ride my Zinger.
One night the sky got dark and these clouds came in, the rain was not far behind.

- a day is a day, it's just a measurement of time...whether it's a good day or a bad day is up to you -
- it's all a matter of perception -

The new knitting bag is adorable...it's the cats pajamas! heehee! Love the hat you made and your photos of the sky. Hang in there my friend. I'm not going as much as I would like. We all still seem to be in a holding pattern. Sweet hugs! Oh and save me some lavender!

We haven't gone anywhere since we have been back from Michigan, I guess we are waiting for the leaves to change down here, if they don't just die and fall off. The hat looks great, don't show it to anyone else though or you will never get the one done for your son, LOL! You found a posh purple bag, great that it will fit all you need :) I can imagine the lavender, I planted some and it did good the first year and then never came back. Good thing you made it back before the rain those look like some nasty clouds coming

Always love your great pics, Debbie. I haven't done much knitting lately, may get back to it soon (if I ever finish these quilts). And I love the smell of lavender also!

Fabulous quote! The knitted hat for your son (and hubby) is great. Fabulous it knitted up quickly. Your new knitting bag is a beauty. Fabulous it can fit your laptop as well as all your knitting gear. It looks as if you are all set to receive all the kids in the neighbourhood for Halloween. How fun!

It is true that a good or bad day is mostly up to us. I always love your optimism. Your hats are adorable; you are so good at making them. You new bag is perfect of you in everyway. The good looks yummy. I love meals that are easy and quick; maybe too much.
I'm not ready for Halloween, but we finally decorated a while ago.
Lavender is a lovely smell, I wish I could grow some. It's a thought for next year.
Always love your unique weather photos. I admire how you two do so much together and go on walks and rides.
Sending hugs your way!
