Saturday's Critters # 408

On a drive around Lake of the Lilies, I think we really ruffled this Egrets feathers.

Mother Nature
transplanted this Rose of Sharon plant in one of my gardens.
Isn't the flower an amazing color?
I had Rose of Sharon plants in my gardens,
but removed them because they multiply like weeds.
Mine were not this color,
and this one popped up in the middle of my lilac bush.

I saw these pretty yellow roses at the Garden Center,
I thought they were gorgeous for this time of year.

The egret does look a bit miffed! The nosy swan may not have helped. Love the blue water! Beautiful flowers, too!

My Rose of Sharon are now growing in all my gardens--pesky things. I even have one growing in the hedge on the opposite side of my house! I have one that has purplish-blue flowers.

Hello Debbie,
Your Egret photos are so pretty. I had to laugh at the look on the swan that is with the egret, a great photobomb.
The flowers are beautiful, love the colors. I linked you up and thanks for sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.

The photos of the egret are great.
The photo with the mute swan is also beautiful.
I like the roses.

Debbie - funny how seeds can be carried on the wind, or by a bird or other critter. Mother Nature has her own way of decorating! Lovely photos!

The swan doesn't look friendly.
I like the roses, my grandfather had a garden full of them. Remembering his happiness when a black rose bloomed for the first time.

Pretty photos! I once had a rose of sharon that was determined to propagate. I remember mowing down it's seedlings in the lawn.

Your Rose of Sharon was a gift, and the other flowers all beautiful! Loved the egret's feathers, such a regal looking bird, as was the photo bomb (swan) :) Have a great week Debbie and enjoy the rest of your Sunday xo
