It's scarecrow season in Peddlers Village,
with more than 100 scarecrows lining the paths along the shops in the village.
Some scarecrows are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous - some are scary -
but all of them are carefully handmade by Philadelphia area residents and organizations!
In it's 42nd year...people viewing the scarecrows can vote for their favorite.
Here are a few of the ones I liked most!
- I'm a dingle dangle scarecrow -
- with a flippy floppy hat, I shake my hands like this, and I shake my feet like that -

Number 1 was my favorite.
All the scarecrows are beautiful but n° 2 is my favorite.
Hello Debbie, What a great selection of Scarecrows, most of them made me laugh. I like the Pinnocchio look- alike best, because it's so cute, and happy looking.
Such creative ideas! I've been making to make scarecrows for real to use at the ranch garden....maybe I will!

Wow these are so amazing, the work and creativity that went into them are something else, so fun, thanks for sharing. I can't pick one favorite there are too many in a tie for first place for me :) When in Michigan we went to the town of one of the bases we were stationed at and they had scarecrows around town but nothing like these!
This reminds me that I should grab my husband and go out to Thanksgiving Point for their Scarecrow displays. I think they are all so fun. I love how creative they are. Thanks for sharing these fun ones.
