If you are a regular reader,
you remember the fire we experienced on August 4th in the industrial park we own.
It was tragic for us, 4 of the units a complete loss...the other 6 in that building
suffered smoke and soot damage.
The demolition and rebuild could not begin until our insurance company,
and the tenants insurance companies were done with their investigations, that took a long time.
On January 14th, we obtained the certificate of occupancy for all of the units,
and the tenants were able to move back in.
We are both happy to have this ordeal behind us!

Looks awesome again! Your builders do nice work!
Great re-build and glad it is behind you.
So glad this is behind you!!! Everything looks great.
Did they ever determine the cause? Glad your up and running again!
the insurance company determined it was an electrical surge. the power had been out in the building for most of the day during the storm isaias. the fire started right about 8:10 pm when the power came back on. the unit across from this one had cameras, so we were able to pinpoint the time. this was an end unit, where all of the gas service enters the building and the tenant had 1000's of bottles of hand sanitizer stored inside, making it very difficult to get the fire under control!
we are very happy to be up and running also. we had insurance for the loss of income, i was glad that was covered as well! nice to see you today ian!!
Well done. It is a great looking place too. That was fast!
A mammoth undertaking but how fabulous it is finished and all the tenants can return, and you and your husband can 'relax'.
They look great! One less thing to deal with.❤️
The re-build looks good.
So pleased this is now finished.
Onwards ...
All the best Jan
Good for you! Landlording isn’t easy!
It sure has been a long time coming but so good to hear that it is all done and they can move back in!
hi ruth, the hubs deals directly with the tenants and is awesome at it. i am behind the scenes doing all of the paperwork. that works best for us, he is such a kind landlord!!
That took a very long time but the rebuild sure looks great.
What a great new beginning!
Wow, that is awesome that you have this all completed and tenants have moved back in. I felt so sad then it happened and love see the beautiful new buildings.
