I don't have much to share today, but I wanted to participate,
and support our dear host Eileen.
These pictures were taken on January 5th, when I saw the Wood Ducks at Lake of the Lilies.
I did not pay much attention to any other waterfowl, even though there were so many ducks there...
I just could not take my eyes or my lens off of the Wood Ducks.
this Hybrid Duck appears to be the Bibbed Mallard version.
Here are two pictures, of the stars of the show, that I did not share last week.

Happy weekend :)
I love seeing your photos and the ducks that you see are so colorful. I don't think we see the Mallard here but we've been seeing the woodducks at Blue Run when we go there. Take care of yourself and get some rest this weekend!

The Female and Male Wood duck are so beautiful. Of course, I love the blue and turquoise colors. I think the Mockingbirds are cute too. You do get some awesome photos!
Hope you are feeling much better. Blessings and hugs for you!
Beautiful ducks whether they be Mallards or Woodies! Our mockingbirds haven't been around much.
You took some great photos. Love that mockingbird!
wonderful pics, we have had a lot of Mockingbirds at our feeders the last few days and they have been really puffed up because of the cold
Oh wow - another beautiful example of awesomeness!
