Allaire Car Show

This past Saturday, we attended the annual car show at
Allaire State Park
It was so hot and humid, I literally slithered up and down each row of cars.
You could see that everyone was melting,
I don't know why they don't have these shows in the spring or fall.

Regardless, leaving was not an option,
I love car shows and this one is one of my favorite shows each year.

1948 Dodge Pick-Up Truck

1911 Cadillac Demi-Tonneau

1922 Model T Ford

1930 Model A Ford

1937 Model A Ford

1909 Cadillac Demi-Tonneau

There were all kinds of cars, but my attention is always drawn to these really old ones.

Vintage car shows are fun aren't they. I want that first beauty. Could you send all that hot weather down here....please. Perhaps it would melt Jack Frost. =)

Those are fantastic! Excellent condition, too. My uncle has a collection of Model A's and T's.

Bummer the weather was so hot, I am afraid it is just going to continue to go this way for us, when Greg retires we are seriously thinking of moving to upper Michigan in hopes of a little cooler summers.
It always warms my heart that people take out the time and money to keep these old cars going so that newer generations can see how it all began and the detail they put into these older cars.

I love old cars, but I love OLD TRUCKS the best. These are amazing and so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Those are some really good ones, Debbie.

I remember Mom talking about back then, she rode in a car that had a rumble seat. She always had to ride back there, and would get sunburned. :)

Aw, I do like your car show photos. I have always loved old cars. Many of them in the 40's and 50' bring back memories. I think my favorite one today is the 1922 Model T Ford. I remember my mother telling me that they had a car like that. Of course, I love that 1948 Pick up truck too. I'm pretty sure my Dad had a similar one.
Big hugs for these awesome pictures!
