Mr. and Mrs.

Undeniably one of the most recognizable birds at the backyard feeders is the
Northern Cardinal.
Both the male and the female are beautiful,
the male always garnering more attention than the female.

Their song is an insistent series of rich, fluffy whistles,
I most often hear them before I see them.
Easy to spot in any environment, I see the Northern Cardinals at my feeders year round.

Any time now the males here will start to sing, advertising for a mate.

Cardinals were the first ones we saw on the feeders this morning. We're wondering where our Goldfinches are this year! Hope they are on the way! Thank you SO much for your concern about Lavender Dreams during my 'shut down'. It's so comforting to have friends that care! Hugs, Diane

Did you happen to see the blog I did about Mr. Cardinal the day of my moms funeral? If not here is the link ~ https://pam-lifethroughmyeyes.blogspot.com/2019/01/mom-and-cardinal.html. Love Cardinals, the males are so bright around here. I love spring when they and all the others start making their way to wherever or just hang out in our area.

pam-lifethroughmyeyes.blogspot.com/2019/01/mom-and-cardinal Hey Debbie try that link to see if you get anything if not scroll through my blog to Jan 17 this yr and see if you can locate that way. I think you will be amazed. As for having help. I will require it when I hit the basement, brothers will just have to suck it up however my moms personal things in drawers and closets I wanted to get done before the boys or grands decided to help. As for the larger stuff like furniture, I have been able to get most of that given to the grandkids. It will be up to them to load and haul it. My back, my body...not happening! I have boxes with each childs name and grands names and if they gave something to mom in the past, pics they gave her or stuff that involves them, it goes in the box. In the garage I am setting up tables with misc stuff that they can go through. Its a long drawn out thing but this way I know nothing is being given to Goodwill or thrown out that one of might want.
