My birds continue to keep me company and amused.
Male Downey Woodpecker
Sexes look similar, the males have a red patch on the back of their head.

North America's smallest woodpecker,
he is a frequent visitor, unobtrusive and easy to observe.
They prefer to feast on suet, he is winking at me here!
Blue Jay
Familiar and unmistakable, mainly blue bird with a distinctive crest.
My Blue Jays prefer shelled peanuts, and I am happy to supply them.

Tufted Titmouse
This cute, distinctive and endearing bird is inquisitive,
and often indifferent to observers, making it easy to capture pictures.

Finishing up with the Male Cardinal
Probably the most colorful, vibrant bird I see year round at my bird feeders.
They enjoy both sunflower seeds and peanuts.
These are only a few of the birds I photographed this past week!

They are all beautiful :)
Great stuff. I am sure that the birds have your house marked off on their list of fine feeding establishments in the neighbourhood.
OH! That blue!
And my fav...the red Cardinal! :)
Such beautiful pictures, I'm fond of Blue Jays they always seem so sassy :)
I think he was winking at you.
Titmouse rock ♥
The Titmouse is the best in this post... with its lovely little crest!
Hello Debbie, your yard birds are a wonderful variety of song birds and woodpeckers. I love the sweet Downy woodpecker, mine have gone missing lately. The Cardinal is a beauty. Lovely collection of photos. Thanks for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your day and weekend! PS, thanks for the comment and visit.
We love our little finches here too! And it's fun to see a Downy. They are so petite and pretty! Petite and pretty? They should all be female! hahaha! Enjoy your weekend! Hugs!
The Woodpecker is so small. Great pictures of so many birds.
You do manage to get such great shots of these different birds. I think that is so unique for the male Woodpecker to have a spot of red. Each of these birds are beautiful in differenct ways. Of course, I love the birght colors of the male Cardinal. I know your love for these spectacular birds and I espcially love how you know what their favorie food is. You have such a nurturing heart.
Blessings and hugs!
Great photographs of your birds, they look so cute and friendly!
I think the blue jay has such wonderful colouring.
Happy Weekend Wishes
All the best Jan
What great pictures today Debbie! I just love them.
We had a new feeder but we only attracted crows. It was very disappointing.
Let’s try this again. Spellcheck and I are NOT friends. Thanks for sharing your beautiful birds with all of us in blogland.
They are all both beautiful birds and very good shots of them Debbie.
Sitting in your yard with the grand show of the avian world before you must be a most pleasant thing, Debbie.
A lovely lot of gorgeous birds Debbie, they know where to come ... word gets around ;D)
I was thinking how much Mr Downey Woodpecker looks like he has a birdie moustache and beard!
I always love the colors of the blue jays and cardinals - and that splash of red on the male woodpecker! And yet, what is it about the tufted titmouse that seems so endearing? For some reason, I just love watching the little chickadees and titmouse (titmice?). Now that winter is here, I get to put my feeders back up, at Away - I'm so excited!
Beautiful birds, great photos.
Warm regards
Maria
Divagar Sobre Tudo um Pouco
They are beautiful, and a few of them appear to be showing off for you.
Love the colour of the Blue Jay
I like when the Blue Jays fly in with their squawking, shrill call.
Amazing and beautiful photos! Very colorful & professional looking work.
Thanks so much for participating and showing your magical photography skills with us at I'd Rather B Birdin this week.
Fantastic, I love the way the light is hitting the house finch!
Shelled peanuts, sunflower seed, thistles, whatever the yardbirds like, I’m glad you supply them and so grateful you share your beautiful photos. (When we had feeders, I always felt the cost of the seed was well worth it for the amazing entertainment value.)
These are gorgeous! Beautiful colors in the jay photos!
