When it comes to crafts, I have a very curious, adventurous spirit.
I enjoy creating things with my hands and I really enjoy a new and challenging project.

I saw a "punch needle" class being offered at a local
Frame and Fiber Shop
and I was excited to sign up and attend.
I have never done punch needle work before and was not familiar with the technique.
It is actually quite easy once you get the hang of it,
threading the needle, is without a doubt, the most challenging and time consuming part.
This cute snowman Christmas Ornament was our project.
We each received a cute paper bag with all of the supplies we needed.
During the 2 hour class,
I completed the red stripe on the snowman's scarf.
I get distracted...and the tip of my tool was defective.
Once I got home, with a nice sharp needle, I have made a little more progress.
I took this close up picture of my work,
and I noticed my nose is probably too big, but it is too late to fix it.
It does look better from a distance.
And I think it will look even better when it is all done.
I really enjoyed the class, it was nice to get out and meet some new girls.
I do think I see more needle punch projects in my future!

I have always loved the look of punch needle craft but have never tried it. How fun to go to a class and learn a new craft and meet new girls. You have made a great start with your little snowman. It will be fabulous when finished. Just a little aside, love the table in the shop.
Hello, it is great to learn new things. Your Snowman is so cute. Enjoy your day and week ahead.
Love the texture and think it is really cute.
I ordered myself a needle punch tool a couple of months ago but I have yet to use it. I must dig it out and start something soon. Your snowman looks great for your first time. Fun project.

Oh my, what a darling little snowman! I just love the texture and look of it.
Happy creating, my friend! Hugs!
Super cute!Hugs!
Punch needle is fun. You did a very nice job. I stab myself too much to really enjoy it. I am kind of a klutz. Threading is hard since I loose those little threaders and end up crawling around looking for them. I am so glad you had fun and that is all that matters.
I have done a few projects in punch needle, but not in a few years, I love the look and you have done a wonderful job with it, I don't think the nose is too big at all. I made candle wraps with mine, just another idea for you :)
😍 Cute!! Me encantan estos adornos navideños. Felicidades Debbie 👏
Besos.
Wow, Debbie, I haven't ever heard about this before. I like this punch Needle project you are doing. I really like it a lot. At some moment of time, I will have to check out if there are classes here. My Mother was really into needle point and I didn't ever learn. I have some of her projects and love how good she was at it.
Blessings and hugs!
It's good to try new things …
I think your snowman is looking good :)
All the best Jan
