Christmas At Opdykes

The transformation is amazing...
A small furniture store is made over each season in to this beautiful Christmas shopping village.
No detail is overlooked, as the shop is decorated with the finest elements,
to decorate your home for Christmas.
Everything you see is for sale,
if you are not in the Christmas spirit when you arrive,
you will be when you leave.

The staff is so friendly and so helpful, and Kelly if you are reading this
it was a pleasure to meet you.
And thank you for helping me, twice,
and showing such a big interest in my blog.

This cute "Happy Holidays" sign sitting on the bench came home with me.
It lights up using batteries and will look perfect hanging on the front door during the holidays.

I also purchased two special gifts for Christmas, which can not be revealed here on my blog.

And if you think that is a lot of pictures,
you might be surprised to learn that I only shared about half of the pictures I took.
If you are ever in the area of Opdyke Furniture Store
in Point Pleasant, New Jersey
be sure and stop by, you won't be disappointed!

Sve je na slikama prekrasno. Božićno vrijeme je moje najdraže razdoblje u godini. Lijepi pozdrav iz Croatia.

Now here is the grinch talking......this kind of shopping would be akin to having a root canal for me. And my wife wouldn’t be a fan of it either, and we are really making a conscious effort not to accumulate more “stuff,” especially cheap crap made in China.

Hello, Debbie! So many pretty Christmas decorations. I like the last tow photo of you and your hubby near the red truck. Everything looks so festive and beautiful. Enjoy your day, have a great weekend ahead!

oh david, you would have fit right in, their theme this year is the grinch. as a 60 year old woman, i too am trying to cut back on "stuff" too. but many people are just starting out in life and may need a tree, a wreath or some ornaments, christmas decor for their home. this is the perfect shop for them. i buy christmas presents for the younger members of our family here. one half of the store is dedicated to handmade items from local crafts people. the owners and staff are local people, wonderful people - there is no pressure to buy anything. when i came in, they greeted me warmly, said it was fine if i took pictures. perhaps a trip here would change your perspective and put you in the christmas spirit.

Translated: Everything in the pictures is wonderful. Christmas time is my favorite time of year. Nice greetings from Croatia.

Well I don't know that I am a Grinch but maybe close as Christmas before Thanksgiving is not appealing to me.

Oh wow you couldn't help but being in the Christmas mood after seeing that, how fun, such lovely decorating they have done. You always make me cold when I see you in your flip flops in the winter, I can barely handle my shoes with mesh sides on them with socks, LOL! So fun to see this winter wonderland they do an amazing job!

Oh wow, I am definitely in the Christmas spirit after looking at all these fabulous photos. I wish this place was close to us, I would be there all the time. I particularly loved the very regal looking Santa Clause in the 14th photo down (coveting him like you wouldn't believe ;)) but everything here is something I would love to browse through and take all kinds of things home. And I always enjoy the sweet photos of you and hubby. Thanks for sharing Debbie!

Oh, my this looks like a wonderful winter wonderland. I love Christmas and I am sure it would take me a day to look at it all. We always try to buy a new decoration of some kind and I would love shopping at this store. Thanks for sharing all the fun photos. I have my eye on that Wooden Nativity. I have been starting to collect one or two more of the Nativity sets.
I love what you chose too. It will look cute on your front door; be sure and share it. Loved the photos of you two; lovely!
Blessings and hugs for this one!
