I am enjoying my little ones, although they still sleep a lot!!
We found the eggs on April 22nd,
here they are on May 4th...
I do believe this is the day they hatched.
And here they are yesterday, May 8th.
It's only been 4 days and they have doubled in size,
and their little eyes are open.
Since the wreath/nest is on my front door, I wait till mom flys off,
looking for food and I am able to take these
images from inside, without upsetting her.
I open the front door, ever so slightly and snap quickly.
This will work for a few days, until they get bigger.
It's hard to believe that in 2 weeks,
they will be gone!!

Excellent photos Debbie! I would be excited if this were happening at my house.
Things like this never fail to delight and amaze me. What kind of birds? I forget. Early morning bird song is one of my favorite things in the universe.
:) m & jb who likes up close and personal encounters with birds, too
Very cool! Glad they are doing well! They're now your personal door greeters. :-)
adorable little ones! stay safe and grow fast!
Hello Debbie, your baby Robins are just adorable.. The momma must be happy and feel safe to nest on your wreath and door..Awesome photos..Thank you for linking up! Have a happy weekend!
Beautiful shots, Debbie! I can't believe how fast they go from naked to to downy!!
So special to see this miracle of life.
I love watching the whole process. You're so lucky to see it so closely. A few years ago, robins made a nest on my mother's nursing home patio. We watched the eggs, hatchlings, and finally fledglings through the entire cycle. Don't you just love how they hold their mouths open for the food to be dropped in? I love watching this through your gorgeous photos!
Oh, Debbie! How lucky you are to see Mother Nature at work ... at her finest. Baby robins! Gorgeous photos, too! Happy Critter Day!
Oh that's brilliant. What a joy for you to have them outside your door.
Three sweet little birdies soon they will be leaving the nest & you will be kinda sad but they will sing pretty songs just for you. Awesome pictures
Oh joyous is right. I have them in one tree every year. Momma teaches them to fly so last year looked out window.
The weak one was having a hard time to walk. Momma bird went over and pushed her a bit . Birds and gritters are so motherly . Natural instincts. Happy Saturday.
Incredible photos; I love them. We had some Doves two years ago that nested in our front porch tree and it was so fun to watch them grow. The parents are so great at parenting~
Happy Mother's day dear friend and thanks for your comments on my post.
Blessings and hugs for a wonderful day tomorrow~
How wonderful, Debbie! I'm watching a few nestings around here, but so far, none have been successful. Happy Mother's Day!

These are so wonderful!!!! I've been waiting for the blog version. I love how quickly their wings start getting details. And two weeks?!? ....gives empty nest sydrome a whole new meaning!!
Oh my, these are marvelous! Amazing details that most of us never get to see!
So, so, so sweet! Isn't it amazing how quickly they grow?! Hugs and blessings!

Wow Debbie, imagine having that all happen at your front door. So cute! :)
They found a nice place and a generous host.
Debbie, this is just wonderful. Beautiful pictures ...to think you saw the nest all the way from eggs all the way through and got these great pictures. I love this!

It is so fun to watch them grow isn't it, what great pictures you captured. We have had them build nests in our hanging plants on the front porch 2 years in a row, made it fun to try and water the plants without upsetting them but I enjoyed seeing them grow
How wonderful. A good success followed, Debbie !!!
Besos.
Happy Mother's Day. Here was the previous Sunday ;))
Oh my gosh! They grew so quickly in just 4 days. This has been such a fun journey for you (and me!). So happy you took the time to get photos of these little miracles.

Totally awesome post. What a great thrill you've had capturing these baby birds. Loved seeing them.
Oh! Debbie, these are the most amazing pictures. I feel blessed to have a nest that I can't even see in the garden.
Cute babies ! It's nice to watch the bird life ! Your pictures are amazing !

Oh gosh I'm so glad I backtracked even more... I'd have missed your sweet Lorelei, herbs, knitting and these gorgeous little babies!! and in your wreath - I believe that, if your door had been open, Mumma bird would've built her nest inside. What a gorgeous experience and how pretty are those eggs too.
Oh the lovely little mouths all wide open. A real treat for us all, thanks Debbie :D)
