Good Morning, Debbie. I love this series on your pretty Blue Jays. My jays do not pose, they grab and go. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy day.
We are enjoying our read breasted woodpecker. Who really has way more red on his head. And I saw a bluebird the other day. Big smile. Love bluejays because their faces remind me of cats!
Beautiful bird, you certainly do take great pictures. It's good to feed the wild birds. I could sit outside & watch the birds & squirrels all day coming & going. I spend around $50 each month for bird seed, squirrel food, & peanuts but their well worth it.
Lucky for me my two sons inherited the family business so not much money spent on college, but I lost my youngest son in Texas in 2012. Have a good day Debbie.
Blue Jays are a favorite of mine. They can give the impression of being aggressive but I learned this week-end they don't hold a candle to a tiny House Wren. The bigger birds tends to scatter in their wake when they come out of nowhere to clear their area.
I love these photos. You always seem to capture the perfect poses of this lovely Blue jay. The color of this bird is lovely. Of course, blue is my favorite color. Hugs!

Blue -- my favorite color! He/she is beautiful, and so dainty as the peanuts are eaten.
