My knitting teacher Leanne at Arrow Acres Farm
is hosting "open knits"!!
When you arrive at the farm, a chair is waiting outside for you...
you knit whatever is "on your needles" and this is your view!!
It's just so fun!!
This is Pompy...
These two pictures were taken on April 30th,
only a few days after he was born.
He has a beautiful white heart on his forehead!!
I went back on May 7th and Pompy came to the fence to greet me.
He was 40 days premature and his future was very uncertain
when he arrived.
Now he is running around with the herd
and his future is bright.
It' is a miracle.
All of these ladies are "expecting"!!
This is Maggie, she is one of my favorites!!
Here's the knitting crew...
this is one of the fun-est things I do.
Many thanks to Leanne and the rest of the girls,
I so enjoy your company!!
oohhhhh and there are some fences in there too...

Yes this muct be a fun thing to do and i know you enjoy it. the Alpaca's are all beautiful but that little one is so cute.
Does Pompy have a sister Circumstance?
Good Morning, Debbie. I would have a hard time concentrating on the knitting. I'd be watching the alpacas and cute Pompy. They are so darn cute! Great fence shots, enjoy your day!
What an interesting place to sit and knit! (On a sunny warm day)!
It's their eye lashes that kill me! I LOVE this! It's why I host scrapbooking workshops - so much fun crafting with the girls...we've built some great friendships over the years of cutting and pasting!!
Oh! how I would love to join you. Pompey is just adorable.
Love that first photo where the one in the background is feeling frisky. Very cute! So glad you're enjoying your knitting sessions. Knitting is something I've never attempted.
Oh Debbie, how fun to have a knitting crew! That must make knitting all the more fun :)
Pompy is adorable! And the expecting mothers....how precious. Enjoy your day!
That sure looks like fun.....
love the first shot - not sure if that is pompy in the background jumping, but whoever it is, sure is cute! :)
Pompy is the real keeper of beauty. And the one in back jumping. I have the baby deer do that when they are young. I call it the jumping of joys. Builds up body muscles for them. The Alpacas I would be watching them for sure.
Nice fences.
Wow you ladies have some pleasure. Never seen this before. The knitting gals. Cool!
Yet my mother in-law could look up an watch t.v and knit comes naturally.
Pretty neat.
That looks like such a relaxing day for you. Love those alpacas, especially the little guy!
I would love a knitting group like that. I bet you girls do as much talking as you do knitting.
These are such lovely photos, and what a great way to relax, I know my wife says her crocheting is one of the ways she meditates.
Oh, I love those alpacas !! They are so beautiful !!
Greetings
How lovely this must be, sitting there and watching these cute alpacas. I would love something like that very much.
The adorable alpacas. Little Pompy is special that's why he was born with the heart on his forehead, a symbol of love. Maggie picture 4 is smiling for you, how cute is that!
What a sweet story Pompy has!! Open Knits sure sound like a lot of fun! The weather looks gorgeous in your photos!
Pompy is very cute. Looks like great fun in the knitting zone!

Such a fun setting for everyone while they knit. I'd be distracted though by those cute alpaca's. Pompy is adorable.
What fun! Pompy is ADORABLE! Not sure I could keep my eyes on my knitting- I'd be wanting to grab my camera and take photos!
It would be hard for me to keep my eyes off such cuties! What a fun and relaxing place to knit away!
I would sit there and knit too. What a lovely place! I love those babies.
I LOVE little Pompy jumping in the background of the first photo! What a great post, Miz Purp! Great Post! Wish I could knit. My hands just can't hold the needles. Oh well. Me crochet.

They're funny! Cute little guy! Glad he's going to be just fine.
Looks like great fun! And what a darling view! :-)
You sound like a lady that would be fun no matter what you did. Loved the animals.
How cute! I'm not a knitter but I like alpacas.
I just love how you have fun! :)

What a great idea and Pompy is so cute!
Love the idea of knitting outside in the fresh air and watching all the cute alpacas.
i adore them but they are a huge knitting distraction for me!!!!
Such a neat idea to be able to enjoy the outside while stitching and enjoying the company of fellow gals!!
I love the picture of all of the knitting ladies; sweet. Of course, I love the farm pictures and the awesome animals. That Pompy is a cut one. Blessings and hugs!
Pompy is so cute! They're really gorgeous animals.
What cute animals! It must have been fun to knit together.
Love those alpaca faces! 40 days early--wow--so glad Pompy is thriving.
