Keep Warm Kits...

As you all know, I have been knitting hats for all of
my loved ones for Christmas.
I have given a lot of thought to how they should be wrapped
and have come up with the following idea...

Keep Warm Kits

I started with a large, wide mouth Ball Jar...

In to the Jar, one hat...

 with my handmade tags...

one set of Hot Hands hand warmers...

and one package of hot chocolate, with a candy cane spoon!!

 Working at the kitchen counter...

I had a great view into the family room which I have already
decorated for Christmas.

With a cute little tag on the outside,
everything fits together very nicely!!
I finished six jars today but I have a lot more to do...
that's why I started early!!

I also organized my baking supplies,
do you think I have enough sprinkles for my Christmas Cookies??
hehehe...

And here is everything else I will need to prepare and gift,
my special Christmas goodies!!

You are just the most clever thing. They are going to love getting those on Christmas morning. Gee, I wonder if I could entice you to add me to your list. Well, maybe not but I can always wish.

That is a fantastic idea Debbie...a wonderful and very useful present for anyone! I wonder why I can't get Christmas cookies off my mind now...some sort of craving I guess! Have a great time baking!

Now this is what they call a genuine gift from the heart. Precious, beautiful, and so darn importantly useful too! The perfect gift. I'm not decorating for Christmas time yet, but I sure enjoy seeing others (like a glimpse of your sweet family room) it just warms my soul. I'm bottling it all up to remove Thanksgiving stuff soon....and bring some Merry Christmas cheer into play!

What fun Debbie. I love those jars and I love every thing in them. How nice you have already decorated. I have my tree up. :) I still have Thanksgiving things out though. I think you always have the best ideas and then they look so cute too.

My dear Debbie, I LOVE your "Keep Warm Kits!" What a cute, clever, and "warm" idea :) I will have to remember this for gifts. I don't crochet or knit, but I could always buy a hat or even a scarf.

And can one ever have too many sprinkles....I don't think so :) Have a great day!

Such a great presentation idea, Debbie! I love, love, love Mason jars -- so handy for all kinds of projects! I'm not decorated (that comes right after TG) but I have started my baking (doing it early and freezing!) That way I'll have time to arrange trays, make tags, and send out to my friends. Those hats would be welcome on this cold, cold day! Great job!

I have to say, speaking as a guy, this is pretty darn clever! It certainly beats my method of wrapping something with newspaper. ;-)
