A Close Encounter with Bambi!!

While driving in the car, my head is in constant motion,
looking for the next great sighting among nature.
This was another spin the car around...
hop out and listen to all the other cars beeping.

How could anyone pass up this most amazing encounter with...

Bambi

I hope I never drive past these amazing animals,
without feeling the need to hop out and take their picture.
and yes, I was this close.

This never grows old for me!

Wow!! When I have tried stopping to capture them, they always run off into the woods. But there is a place near here where the deer are fed all year round. I should take a walk...

I used to see them along the AC Expressway on my drive home from work. I often thought about stopping for some photos, but it would have been risky on that particular road. So glad you got your excellent shots of such beauty!

We put corn down for them in winter. Looks out bedroom window one night only to find a deer eyeball about 12" from mine. We wee both startled, but stayed still. And after a while, an understanding passed between us. Quite the lovely encounter.

Beautiful! Perfect! Us bloggers are pretty good at the whole "stop and smell the roses" philosophy of life! I LOVE how their ears are so alert...you can almost "see" that they can hear every little thing!!

Keep careful watch that Bambi and his friends don't jump out in front of your car!!

We have a lot of deer around here, too. They are always in "gangs", never alone.

Great shots!
