The Cherry Blossom Festival

On Friday, we visited the tidal basin in Washington, D.C.
for the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Friday was considered a "peak" day, and the view was breathtaking!

Lot's of pictures, no explaination is needed...
except to say, if you ever have the opportunity to see this, do it!

You guys are lucky to be viewing these spectacular blooms with me...
it was crowded, really crowded.
And peeps do not care if they photo bomb you!
If you go, go early in the morning, that's the best viewing time.

Oh so beautiful Debbie! We leave for Little Rock, AR in a week and I hope to see their trees in bloom. Mother Nature is a true artist! Our trees are just getting started here and they predicted snow today! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. I love them.

I haven't seen these DC blossoms in a long time! Spectacular. It's still snowing in CO where I live.

Gorgeous shots, Debbie! The blossoms are beautiful! The time I went we could hardly walk because of the crowds of people. Looks like you went at a better time.. Love the photos..

We missed this dazzling display by a few days as the weekend we visited friends was not quite peak bloom time. Thanks for sharing the beauty of cherry blossoms, Debbie.
