What Happened To Fall?

First we had hurricane Sandy,
then a Nor'easter and at least 6 inches of the white stuff.

I didn't miss fall but I never got a chance to share it here!!

October 21, 2012
A gorgeous fall day at The Manasquan Reservoir.
First the hubs and I had a picnic lunch,

then we rode the bikes on this pretty path,

which opens up to this beautiful view.

Here's the hubs, waiting for me to get up the hill.

And here is an action shot of me.
On this fabulous fall day, we had no idea what was coming our way.

You had some beautiful color! More widespread than what we had. Gorgeous shots! Sorry about the snow...it's definitely too early for that!

I am so glad you got to enjoy that beautiful day. Isn't it great that we don't know what lies ahead? I at least really don't want to know,it might spoil the good times on any given day.

one of the above comments fits so well...'your occupation is to enjoy life'...You are best at that job. Now if that nasy weather would just cooperate.

I love your beautiful fall photographs, Debbie! Autumn was certainly fleeting this year. We seemed to have gone from summer to winter. During the month of October here in Chicago, we had such high winds that the colorful leaves did not stay on the trees for very long. The photograph of you on your purple bike is fabulous! Beautiful smile, as always.
