This may be the best pasta dish I have ever created.
The recipe can be found here, I pretty much followed the recipe,
but I used sausage instead of chicken and added 1/2 of a diced sweet onion in the beginning.
This was super simple, get your pasta water going right away,
because after you brown your sausage, this is pretty much a dump...
dump it all in with the sausage and let the flavors "marry" until your pasta is done.
The ingredient line-up...
Brown sausage, add 1/2 diced onion if you like, I always like some sweet onion to start.
Water is boiling...
I use DeCecco Pasta, the best of the brands.
I used bow-tie pasta and that needs a little extra cooking time.
Once the sausage and onion are cooked, everything else goes in.
The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of chicken broth, I used pasta water instead.
including the pasta!
It was so good and super easy.
My friend Leanne shared a similar recipe yesterday using gnocchi and it is all cooked in one saucepan.
I love that idea...
that recipe can be found here, it boasts "one pan, 20 minutes".
Here's what you will need, but also click on the recipe link provided above...
If you use sausage, you will need 8 ozs, the recipe called for 2 pounds of chicken breasts
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth, I used pasta water
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, diced
1/4 teaspoon salt
The pictures of my big project will be tomorrow...it will not interest most of you!

That pasta dish looks wonderful... but I would use chicken as I'm not fond of sausage (except for seasoning in red beans). And I'm sure waiting to hear about your new project.
Mercy!!!---that looks DELICIOUS!! I'd love a big bowl of that!
YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Debbie!
Yours looks very appetizing.
I make this pasta for dinner quite often.
Hugs and greetings.
Sounds amazing. I have had a tuscan chicken pasta meal that was cooked in a instant pot....SO GOOD! I might have to make this one. YUM. Keep cooking, and sharing.
Must be so good! I think I will try next week.
Sausage doesn't always agree with me anymore, so I would have to use something else probably, it sounds interesting.
Mercy woman! That looks so delicious and now my stomach is growling.
I just might have to try making that dish. Notice I said 'try'. LOL
