The hubs was home both days this past weekend and it was awesome!
We got a lot of work done, had some fun, and there may have even been a game of Racko.
I love when he is home, I goof off less and work more,
I always feel a little more accomplished on those days...plus, he helps me so much,
and I am so grateful!
I think this is a Female Gadwall, please let me know if I am wrong.
Looking right at me...

Hello Debbie,
Beautiful captures of the waterfowl. I love the Wigeon and the Coots. The Mallards are pretty. Take care, enjoy your day!
The ducks are wonderful. Ours are scarcer these days, don't often see a wood duck.
hello and thanks for leaving a comment. once again, i am unable to access your blog so i can read about what you have been up to!!
That one looking straight at you is awesome...

I’d love to see one of those coots, old or not! That mallard looks huge and it’s feet are so orange! Great photos.
Debbie, If you are allowed to feed the ducks, you may want to bring some crackers or bread along. :) It's nice to see all the ducks. Blessings, x0xo, Susie
I was thinking how gorgeous your photos were and so clear that you must have been right on top of them, Debbie. However, when I read that your cropped them, I have to say, the clarity is superb!! I loved them all...:)jp
Beautiful images.
Gorgeous photos of the mallards and so glad you two had the weekend together. Sounds like you had a lot of fun :)
and other ducks ;)
I seriously am amazed at the wonderful shots you get of these magnificent birds. I loved the Female Gadwill and that you got such a great photo of her looking at you. The colors are beautiful on many of them and I see their uniqueness.
Thanks for sharing your bird photos; you know what I think you should do with them.
Blessings and hugs!
I am glad you had a nice weekend, You get the best pics, even with zooming in they are perfection! So neat to get many different ones. That water looks icy cold doesn't it.
We saw plenty of Heron when we went out last weekend but my lens on my camera just couldn't pick them up well, hubby's lenses are better so he was able to get them, wish they would come closer but these guys were very spooked by any noise or movement.
A lovely collection here Debbie, lovely to see :)
All the best Jan
You did have fun ...those are beautiful ducks! That one looking right at you is quite fascinating...I don’t think I’ve ever seen a duck photo except in profile (or bottoms up).
Beautiful! Nice green on the wigeon and I like the white bill. Glad you could get out to see them!
