This is/should be Rhinebeck weekend...
The weekend the knitting girls and I travel to Rhinebeck, New York for the annual
Sheep & Wool Festival.
For obvious reasons, the festival has been canceled and we are not going.
a collection of pictures and memorabilia I put together from last years trip.
I have shared this a few times in the past,
but I have been moving things around and I have added a few things.
Everything shown here has very special meaning.
My hat is on top, followed by the cartoon caricature the author we met drew of me.
We all received a copy.
Mamma Dee drew this picture of an Alpaca using the art of doodling.
The sheep in the middle was made by Paige's husband using a 3D Printer.
if not for her, I would not be a knitter and I never would have gone to Rhinebeck!

Hello, Debbie
Sorry the festival had to be canceled this year. You have many happy memories, I like the cute sheep. Great photos!
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!
What a great way to keep a special memory with a gallery wall. I also love the groups of pictures in the background going up the stairs:) So many things have had to be cancelled but hopefully next year will be a different story.
I am so glad you have such nice things to remember your trip. I am so glad you also learned to knit. What a great knitter you are too.
Well, hopefully things will return to normal and you can go next year.
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
It's a shame but perfectly understandable that the festival was cancelled this year.
However, you've done a great job here.
Special memories and great pictures.
Enjoy the rest of Friday and have a good weekend.
Don't know where this week has gone!!!
All the best Jan
Those are fun memories .
Such a pity all you girls are unable to enjoy Rhinebeck in person this year. Love all the memories displayed on the wall. The caricature is fun and such a lovely photo of Leanne and you.
Well dang it!!---I am so sorry Rhinebeck is cancelled. I know how you enjoy it so much. I do love your gallery wall tho, it looks great. May I suggest you put a nice long twirled/gathered piece of the yarn cascading down the wall somewhere? Hope you have a great weekend my friend. We don't have any big plans......but cooler weather is on the way!!
I love that blogging changed your life, too. Such good friends and good times!
What a great idea to highlight the year as you did. Love it!
So sorry you can't go this year, there have been so many things put off this year, but so neat that you have made a memory wall instead!
I love that you made a memory wall of these precious moments with friends. I loved the drawings and especially the one of the home you stay in. Of course, the best one was the one with your dearest friend. I feel sad you couldn't go and do it all this year, but you do have wonderful memories for sure.
Blessings and hugs!
