One of our "every fall, bucket list" trips is
Peddlers Village
A shopping village, each fall they host a scarecrow contest.
They have a lot of different festivals here, but this one is one of my favorites.
Most are non-traditional scarecrows, visitors vote and soon a winner will be crowned.
We walked around outside only, everyone was wearing a mask as it was required.
I went in one store, just for cards...I wore my mask and used hand sanitizer afterward.
It was such a beautiful day but the village was very crowded.
A gorgeous blue sky, the sun was beaming...and it was about 68 degrees,
- perfect -
There were so many entries, I only photographed my favorites...
The first 3 and last one were my very most favorites.

Looks like Peddlers Village has the best scarecrow display around.

those were grapes, out front of a wine store "grape-ful dead"...ca"boo"net!! this one was very clever!!
Thanks for sharing, Debbie. We don't go out at all except for neighborhood walks, groceries, and doctor appointments, so seeing these things virtually is great. Do wear your masks and stay safe.

Those are fantastic! I'm especially fond of Oscar...I remember watching Sesame Street as a kid.
They sure do get creative with a lot of those don't they, sounds like it was perfect weather to get out and walk around. I am not sure if you would call her a farm angel or what but, the one after Popeye is my favorite!

I love your trip here every year and all the fun photos of Halloween Scarecrow displays. Actually, my favorite photos were of your hubby and you. I do love your smiling faces. I think I smiled the most at Popeye and Olive. I think it is because I am old.

I remember this from before! They ve outdone themselves again this year! You have a great Fall bucket list and I’m glad you are able to do so many of the things on it even now!
What a super fun posts. I always enjoy when you post from this event. It would be so hard to pick a winner since they are all so neat and fun. Loved the Unicorn, Flamingo and the one that had the #3 on it.
