Yarn Along

I am still working on the Neapolitan Cowl I started last week.
This Cowl will make a really nice Christmas gift for one of my nieces.

As I have said before, this is such an easy project to knit,
knitting and purling is all that is required to produce this beautiful pattern.
For this cowl, I am using DyeForMe merino baby alpaca,
it is so soft and so very nice to knit with!

In other news...

we now have 4 eggs in the nest in my wreath...

I'm pretty sure we have babies in here,
mom and dad have become increasingly "freaked out" when I walk by.

And I am pretty sure we have a nest in my pretty outdoor chair,
behind the pillow...I am afraid to look.

So many babies...I am so excited!

Hello, the birds do go a little crazy when you are close to their nest. The cowl looks beautiful, it will be a lovely gift. Wishing you a happy day!

How exciting to have babies...right there at your house! Love the sea glass and book. And of course your knitting is beautiful! Enjoy your day! I just got back from a hike and saw a young bird...not sure yet what it was! I'll have to get the id books out! Hugs!

Perhaps you should not so close to the nest Debbie. You do not want them to abandon the nest. Love the knitting. Keep going.

Hi Debbie,
It's certainly time for new life... new babies.... and new knitting projects. I am back to blogging after a long break. I missed everyone.

I love your eggs, such a nice shot. BUT....I REALLY LOVE THE BIRDHOUSE. I just wrote tomorrows blog that I will post in the morning but your birdhouse would fit right in with my questions! You do such beautiful work. I have never been a fan of kniting and pearling one right after the other. Knit, knit, knit....and maybe a pearl! Great job and you are correct, it will make a great gift.

It is nice when you can find a pattern that looks great but is easy to do, makes it a more calming experience :)

Oh my gosh, you do like to have babies around. I loved that you have your precious birds nesting around your home. I love how you watch over them without getting the parents upset. It will be fun to see whatever photos you can snap. The ones to day are beautiful. I really like the color of your new cowl and the yarn looks soft and the pattern lovely.
Blessings and hugs!
