Dining in Longwood Gardens is extraordinary, their restaurant,
Fresh flowers from the gardens decorate the table.
Bread baked in a flower pot is served warm before your meal.
Thank goodness each person gets their own,
the bread is delicious!
We each got the Filet Mignon, with Horseradish Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans,
the meal was divine.
For desert, I got Creme Brûlée
For the hubs,
The Chocolate Flower Pot
mousse, coffee ganache, chocolate cake, buttercream and vanilla ice cream.
The entire desert is edible, even the pot and the flowers,
I brought the flowers home!
It is well heated...this was our view!
The food at this restaurant is exceptional,

Hello, Debbie. Your meal looks delicious and the desserts are amazing. I like the cute bread in the pot. The Christmas tree is lovely. Do you spend the night nearby, I was not sure how close Longwood Gardens is for you. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Love how they incorporate the garden into the meal with the pots and etc. Beautiful view and lovely meal what more could one ask for.
What a fabulous meal! The desserts are something else! Love the chocolate one....I would have wanted to take the whole thing home as it was! And the gift shop is nice. Did you buy something special? I guess I'll have to wait until the next post! heehee! Holiday hugs!

that looks like a very special place to have dinner, love how they serve and decorate things. That tree is just beautiful and wow it looks like they have some great items for gifts too!
Ok---that sure LOOKS DELICIOUS!! I am a "steak and "taters"" kind of girl!!--one of my favorite meals. The picture of the Christmas tree is so pretty too! I always enjoy looking around gift shops too, so I liked seeing all the pretty things displayed. Did you buy anything? Oh!---and I loved seeing the scarf you are working on, in the previous post. That is a very pretty pattern, I love it and would definetly wear it, I am a scarf lover and have a pretty big collection, and yep, I do wear them all. LOL
The food looks so scrumptious and served in such a lovely way. Your Hubby's dessert looks incredible. The atmosphere is lovely and then the gift looked like a fun one to browse through. You do have a great life of trying new places and seeing some wonderful things.
Loving thoughts, wished for blessings and hugs for you two!
Wow! That looks fantastic! A beautiful place!
