Greater Shore Concert Band

My knitting teacher Leanne is a member of
The Greater Shore Concert Band
She is an amazingly talented woman, Leanne plays the flute and is pictured above.
The second row to the right of the conductor, third girl back.
They have played at Carnegie Hall, a dream come true for Leanne.

Please take a minute and listen to the beautiful music from the band here.

Leanne and I, after the concert.
This girl is amazing and I am so happy she is a part of my life.

The Program

Leanne Coppola is a Grapher Designer by day, and so many things by night!
It was a wonderful afternoon,
honestly one of the best events I have attended this Christmas Season!
And I have attended a lot!

Community music groups and choirs of any kind are a wonderful part of that community. We use them as just one way here to integrate refugees into our society, people often with amazing skills we would otherwise be unaware of, and it enables them to make contacts, develop connections and job opportunities.

I loved Debbie. I like music. I hope we never miss, it's sad to live without it. Beautiful post.

To sit there in that auditorium and listen to the strands of beautiful music being played would have been amazing. Whilst reading the names and the different professions it struck me the commonality of music. People from all walks of life gathering together in unison to create beautiful music.

It is always more special to listen to a concert or watch a play when you know some of the people in it. She is a very multi talented lady, I am sure she was so happy to have you there. They do sound great, sure to get you in the Holiday spirit!

It is always a touch more fun to attend a concert that you have someone you know in. She does look like such a lovely person. I think you make good friends because you are so talented too. So happy you could attend the concert and support her too. Christmas programs are the best.
Blessings and hugs!

So interesting the program highlights the musicians ‘other’ life.
What a joy the concert must have been. For the audience and the performers!
