Weekend Fun...

Monday morning I asked the hubs what his favorite part of this past weekend was??

He said it was the horse and carriage ride in Cape MayI would have to agree.

Our horse was beautiful!

The beachfront Victorian Homes here in Cape May are spectacular...
this row in particular...

gorgeous colors and they are so well maintained.

We rode the bikes through the streets then up on to the boardwalk.
When it was time for a rest, we selected a bench...

and found this was the placard on the bench we were resting on, so sweet!

At night the streets, stores and homes light up...

everything looks so pretty!

Pretty Tasty Cupcakes was closed...
we must remember to go back next time we visit!!

You two find the funniest things to do on your weekends. Those homes look amazing, I bet it was an interesting ride. Such a lovely quote on the placard, you landed at the right bench :) Too bad the cupcake place wasn't open, sounds like it would have been the perfect ending to the day!

Those big homes aren't lived in by families, are they?
Who could afford them!
Pretty--love the carriage ride and the plaque on the bench.

Stunning homes -- it looks ike Cape May must be filled with many kinds of beauty. (I was thrilled to find even one nicely maintained Victorian home here in our little city, BTW.) The carriage ride looks amazingly fun and I got a lump in my throat with the inscription on that bench.

The Carriage ride looks so much fun. I think it is romantic and the two of you look so happy. I love the Victorian era; so I would be so excited to see these homes. I loved what the bench plaque said; it fits you two. Keep on having these fun adventures and sharing them; I love it. Blessings and hugs for you!

I like carriage rides, too. We took our granddaughter on one following her graduation ceremony. Wish I'd gotten better photos of it. Those houses are beautiful! It has to be hard keeping them in that state with all the ocean throws at them.
