Saturday Critters ~ 151 ~

I visit Lake of the Lilies in Point Pleasant Beach often.
It's not far from home but it is hit or miss with seeing wildlife and birds there.
It is a wildlife preserve,
fenced off so you can't get right up to the water.

We went last Sunday and the place was busy, lot's of ducks...

and a few pretty Swans.

This Swan was not able to loose that long weed it had picked up.

I think this is a Domestic Mallard...

hanging with the "regular" mallards.

And an American Coot, this sighting is a first for me!!

  5. Hello, Debbie! I love the Mute Swan photo. I think the stiff tail duck in the first shot are the Ruddy ducks. Cute ducks and coot shots. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
