Heading home after a super long - super fun day there is one more stop to make.
The hubs drives slowly and I am searching for them,
as this is the spot where they usually hang out.
as this is the spot where they usually hang out.
As I get out of the car, they both see me but they don't run off.
The leaves are crunching beneath my feet as I walk closer and they are so curious.
Eventually Junior runs off, but the big guy stays.
I enjoy seeing deer in the wild...
It restores my faith that in spite of the progress of man kind,
there is still something natural, untouched and free in this world.

Hello Debbie, sweet shots of the deer. They are beautiful, I hope they stay safe. Have a happy day!
Wonderful photos! They're beautiful animals.
Nice shots of the deer. They are beautiful and they do look curious.
Beautiful shots! I'm so glad they didn't run off - it's almost as though they were posing for you!
Lovely deers. Posed well for photos :)
Our woods down this way is so thick, I have rarely gotten a view of a deer down here. Maybe 3 times in thirty years, and each sighting has been a thrill.
Aww! What a thrill to see these lovely creatures, and your shots of them are great, and your spectacular sunset captures on your previous post are quite breathtaking.:)
Great pictures.... We see deer on the roads ALL the time in this area!!... I'm always to late with my 'phone camera'.... and the road is too narrow to stop haha... I do need to get my camera out:)
My very favorite wild animal.
They are such beautiful creatures.
xo.
They were very attentive to what you did Debbie. Cute photos.
Besos.
that first shots is brilliant Debbie
Awww...what a couple of cuties. I LOVE deer. They are really tame on Vancouver Island too, almost had one take an apple out of my hand a while ago.
Have a super week, G
Thank you Debbie!:) Just came back to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving also.:)
Wonderful. If we get up early we can always spy them in our woods. Bundle up and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Aloha!
Beautiful creatures & beautiful photos! So glad they lingered long enough for you to enjoy them too!
They were waiting for you. :-) Nice photos!
Oh that first photo ... they posed perfectly for you.
Always lovely to see these beautiful creatures.
All the best Jan
Boy, those are friendly deer!
I do wish they knew how to stay off of roads
Oh i love them!---such gentle and quiet creatures! So scary when they get close to the highways!
Ah-hh, how do I put this nicely? That isn't a "big guy". That is a female doe deer.
I like how you shoot them much better than how the guys around here do.
These pictures are lovely.
That is so fun that the deer would remain there as you were coming tomwards them. I too love nature and watching deer is such a fun thing to do.
As always I love your adventures. Hugs~
Hello Debbie,
Very nice pictures. Great to see how alert these animals are.
Kind regards,
Marco
Beautiful! My daughter has several on their property and I always get up early so I can see them in her yard.
